Guild Dungeon Investment System

Information

• The investment system for Guild Dungeons was implemented on the main servers on August 7th, 2012.
• Guilds owning a castle may invest in their castle using the Cat Paw Merchant located in their castle.
• Players not in a guild may invest in the dungeons realms by talking to the Cat Paw Merchant located in each realm.
• There are 2 ways to invest, with Zeny or with items.
• Investments for Guild Dungeons are used to open floor 2 of the guild dungeon and the Hall of Abyss.
• Floor 2 of the guild dungeon will open when a minimum of 20,000,000 Zeny has been invested for that realm.
• Hall of Abyss will open for that realm when the minimum of 70,000,000 Zeny has been achieved.
• The Zeny invested into each castle in the realm and by the public is added up for these achievements.

Notes: The investment period normally begins a few hours after maintenance (Thursday 6:00 PM PDT) and ends at Monday 1:00 PM PDT. The dungeons will open approximately 3 days later when the investment period ends.

Investing with Zeny

1. Speak with the Cat Paw Merchant Guild in the realm you wish to invest in prt_gld15896 (below the fountain).
2. Select I want to invest in this area.
3. Select Invest with Zeny.
4. You will then be given the option of units in 1, 10, 50, or another amount you can choose (1-200).
5. Each unit will be rewarded as a Thanks Invest Ticket.
   • Each unit represents 10,000 Zeny
   • These tickets are account-bound and can be redeemed for items later on.

Investing with Items

1. Speak with Namis prt_gld145255.
2. Select What do you need? I'll invest!
3. Select the Event_0# Items of choice.
4. Select the items you wish to invest.
5. Investing items will be rewarded as Cats Invest Certificate.
6. Certificates can be given to the Cat Paw Merchant in the realm in exchange for 10 Thanks Invest Ticket, which can be redeemed for items later on.
   • Each Cats Invest Certificate is equal to a value of 100,000 Zeny for investing.
   • Certificates and tickets are account-bound .

With the Thanks Invest Ticket you may go to the Thanks Ticket Machine prt_gld16550 and redeem for items. Tickets can directly purchase items or for different colored Paw Jelly Bags; bags give random items.

Paw Jelly Bags Rewards List

The other two options are Paw Jelly Bags in two different colors:

• Red Paw Jelly Bag (5 Tickets)
• Black Paw Jelly Bag (50 Tickets)

Paw Jelly Bags give random items used for making Guillotine Cross poisons, Genetic Stat foods and other various necessities.

• Red Paw Jelly Bag and Black Paw Jelly Bag give the same rewards except for the WoE Armor Set, which is given only by the Black Paw Jelly Bag.
• Black Paw Jelly Bag give double the quantities Red Paw Jelly Bag do, generally, with the exception being "boxed" items.

About the Chance Column: Percent chance are approximated based on large samples of items acquired from investing. The Black Paw Jelly Bag also includes the WoE equipment (Manteau, Boots, Shoes, Robe, etc) so the actual chance to get another item is very different. However, the chances seem to be proportionately the same.

Entering the New Dungeons

To enter the new dungeons you may speak with the Gate Manager NPC near the NPC you used to invest in the realm. You may only do this after the investment period is over and the gate has been connected. This NPC will then allow access to floor 1 and 2 of the Guild Dungeons. Members of guilds owning a castle in the realm may use the same NPC that allows them to invest inside of their current castle. There is also a status board near each of these Gate Managers to show the current investment status in that realm.
