About Ayothaya
Ayothaya is a magnificent city off the coast of the Rune-Midgarts Kingdom. It has two field maps and a dungeon. To access the dungeon, you must complete a quest. To get to Ayothaya, you must pay the NPC at the docks in Alberta 10,000 Zeny.
Story
As more foreign cities were discovered by adventurers, the economy of the Rune-Midgarts Kingdom flourished as trade developed with other sovereign states. King Tristram III proclaimed that adventurers that discovered new lands would be richly rewarded, and many brave explorers were enticed with his promise of fame and fortune.
The King was greatly pleased when an adventurer answered his challenge, and recently discovered the city of Ayotaya, which was connected to Amatsu, Kunlun and Louyang by an ocean lane. Upon arriving in Ayotaya, the explorers of the Rune-Midgarts Kingdom were fascinated with the tribal people living in Ayotaya and their peaceful way of life. Cherishers of nature, the Ayotayans lived in beautiful houses built on the water that was often filled with fishing boats selling their wares and exotic foods. The people of Ayotaya were also devoutly religious and worshipped at a magnificent shrine they had built out of Gold and Emerald.
However, there is a dreadful folk tale whispered amongst the people in Ayotaya of mysterious relics in which there lives a horrible creature that feasts upon humans. The brave adventurers of Rune-Midgard, upon hearing this story, were seized with the desire to venture into these relics and learn the truth for themselves..
