Talk:Chemist Builds

With the addition of Geneticists I thought it would be nice to put all builds information in 1 page in order to keep things simple. When this page is complete there's the option to:

  • Let all Alchemist, Biochemist and Geneticist pages refer or include this one
  • It makes editting this information a lot easier as it's now only 1 page that needs to be editted

I'll spend a few more days on completing this page, after that it's possible to make the inclusions. --Seravee 00:37, 17 September 2010 (MDT)

Imo, this page is NOT needed. There is a separate area in the classes' pages where you can put the builds. And besides, we want to be consistent, so if we're doing it for this one, we're doing it for all of them.--Johan 09:16, 17 September 2010 (MDT)

There's a separate area in each job's page that is unnecessary in the first place. It gives too much information on those pages in the first place and it's becoming outdated for each job rapidly. IMO all build, equipment, and lvling spot information can be sectioned away in order to keep the main job's page clean and updated. Even on the old wiki some of those information was outdated by months and in worst cases even by years. If this modification is wanted, but people are too lazy to do it so for all classes then so be it. Then I'd do it for all of them into the details if I have to. There are 39 jobs now in the game right now, and with renewal it will be 52. Can this information be kept up to date on even at least half of those pages? The other advantage to this is, with even a 3rd class job into each job-arc, is that you have a consistent job guide in the first place. Right now, some 2nd jobclass information doesn't match their 1st job class information at all. What does irowiki want when someone wants to know how to lvl and build a new character: to confuse them with incorrect, contradicting and outdated information? --Seravee 10:22, 17 September 2010 (MDT)
