Lacks levelling spots for extended classes, anyone experienced in any of them that can add any useful info for them? --Rikai 08:42, 6 June 2008 (MDT)

Agreed. I know some good ninja info (they're really not so different from mages after all), but I'm thinking of reworking the page altogether. It's very badly organized at the time. --Steax 21:30, 6 June 2008 (MDT)

EXP Quests?

Shouldn't they be considered a factor? I know when I leveled my swordsman I used them to my advantage. By hunting in Mjolnir 1, I got both experience and items for the experience quests that I could turn in immediately. The exp is great.

Considering this page was written before they were added, yeah they should be a factor. They just need to be added to the appropriate places. --Resplendent 13:34, 22 September 2008 (MDT)

More suitable display method

I've started converting a few of these into tables, particularly because as it is, the information is very difficult to navigate due to the extremely messy layout of the spots presented. If you want to replicate it or add an additional leveling guide whilst I'm not editing, use the following layout. JordanC 15:21, 1 October 2009 (MDT)

Borders

I added borders to the tables to make it easier to read. Some weirdo removed them for some unknown, stupid reason, but I put them back. Rakutei

Calm down. If you actually read the discussion above this one, we've already agreed on one style. Frankly, I think the borders look really bad. Cell padding is already perfectly readable. :/ --Bob. 09:12, 25 November 2010 (MST)
Err, you act like it was agreed upon, and not just some guy's table that he made. Only one person (A non-moderator, in fact) wanted it.

Edit wars don't solve anything, I've reverted the page back to the last content edit, and locked it until some discussion takes place. --Stalker-ness 02:18, 26 November 2010 (MST)

Honestly I don't have any issues reading either version. Though almost every other table on this wiki uses class=wikitable, so the absence of it seems a bit out of place (and out of style). --Stalker-ness 02:18, 26 November 2010 (MST)

Blugh. You guys are insane. The Cellpadding looks terrible. Basically everything else uses an actual table. Consistency is a good thing, you know. Half of the acolyte spots are fairly terrible, and the ragtag slapping of information just looks bad. I did the Swordsman, Knight and Rogue sections, using the Map name, and it's database name, and nothing else does that. Blugh. No borders is sooo annoying me, especially since I've done interaction design, and I know that it's just bad design to present such information without borders. Rakutei

Please use the version with the full table. The absence of the visible tables looks out of place, out of style, and leaves me wondering why the border hasn't loaded yet. Serakano

Why not use a table with borders and padding? I think that would look better than both of the existing styles. If you think the wiki's stylesheet should be changed to accommodate styling tables on this page, then suggest it on the Discussion page. :) Richard 12:33, 26 November 2010 (MST)

I tried using many styles with the current css; it turns out that you can only get no borders at all, or this table that has crappy colours. For some reason, it will not read style="background:white"... --john talk to me 17:17, 26 November 2010 (MST)

Crappy colours? it matches the Wiki's colours. I don't see why you'd need a coloured first row. Rakutei

I'm going to join into this and say simply this: In my opinion, the page looks like shit right now. Just padding makes it look out of place with the rest of the wiki (Where almost all tables have borders), and, in most cases, borders look better anyways. However, I did notice there has been a bit of a war lately, with a ton of users trying to fix the tables and put borders, and one user changing them back; really, it does need to stop. Why not let a mod decide and leave it be? This is one of those pages that is best to be left editable, so that people can add in where they think are some good places to level. As soon as this border war is decided, the sooner this page gets unlocked. --ArcLumin 22:10, 26 November 2010 (MST)

Change cellpadding="10" to border="1"? Yes? No? john talk to me 22:21, 26 November 2010 (MST)

Sure? That would end this edit war, at least. --ArcLumin 22:28, 26 November 2010 (MST)

Any opinions on this table?

Map Start Level End Level Skills Monsters Notes
Payon Cave 1 12 30 Heal Everything Solo. Unless you have good SP/INT gear or friends then your SP will run outfast when heal bombing, so make sure that you have an equip like a Mace to defend yourself while regenerating HP and SP. Be especially careful of Familiars at this early level, since they are the only monster not susceptible to heal bombing on this map.

And I'll unlock the page, just don't start reverting edits. --Stalker-ness 22:35, 26 November 2010 (MST)

Leveling Spots

Well, until this page gets unlocked, I'm going to place some leveling spots here. Also, maybe we should add a catch-all category? While having it arranged by class is nice, there's no sense in having something like Magmarings in there 12 times. Why don't we make a "General Leveling" section to it with some areas? --ArcLumin 22:15, 26 November 2010 (MST)

Well, here's some, in simple info, without controversial borders: (All of these are all monsters)

Payon Field 8 Start Level: 8 End Level: 24

Payon Cave 5 Start Level: 60 End Level: 85

Sograt Field 3 Start Level: 35 End Level: 55

Juno Field 4 Start Level: 75 End Level: 90

Veins Field 3 Start Level: 95 End Level: 115

Some places aren't good for some classes, so I think leaving them split up by class works well. It's not like it's hard to click on the name of the class you use, and then read their section. An example of this is more or less Magmarings on a Rogue. They use Firebolt and Fireball, and will make the Rogue lose their copied skill. They can really only safely mob at Harpies or Stemworms.Rakutei

Eh, sure. Just a thought, as you'll get a ton of different classes all leveling at the same spots. And yes, there are a few exceptions, but they are generally universal. Still, could go either way, and it was just a suggestion. Still, these would go good on most tables. --ArcLumin 22:53, 26 November 2010 (MST)

Elements

Ah, this just occurred to me. Lots of people level using elemental weapons. Now, rather than them looking up the map in the DB and looking at all the monster info (Which does not have complete numbers on spawns yet), why don't we place the main elements of the monsters there? Say, Payon 8 is mostly water types, even thought that is not the only type that is there. If it's a negligible amount of other types, then there is no need to list them; if there is higher amount of another type, then add them to the area's element. Really, this page is about convenience and not having to look up in the forums or the DB for places to level, and this would help out in that regard. --ArcLumin 22:53, 26 November 2010 (MST)

Putting trans 2nd and normal 2nd class in one heading

Because trans classes are essentially a 2nd class with a few new skills. I was wondering if it'd be better to combine both of em, instead of repeating all the spots again a second time (since you are pretty much going to the same places again). Thinking it might make the page look better in the future when more gets added? What do you think?
