Land of Heroes
Land of Heroes (also known as Corrupted Lands) briefly describes two specific instances that exist exclusively for the European Ragnarok Prime Server.
How to enter
- Finish the access to the New World quest.
- Be level 130 or higher.
- Talk to the Border Guardian in Prontera (130, 125) and choose to enter either Land of Heroes 1 (Travel 150-160) or Land of Heroes 2 (Travel 160-170).
Speciality
- Every monster in Land of Heroes is a stronger version of its respective counterpart on the normal maps.
- There are far more monsters of each type (up to 100 of each version), and the respawn timer is decreased.
- The monsters, however, have the same drops and drop chances as their respective counterparts.
- MVP's spawn points are marked on the map with a big red skull.
- MVP's will spawn after 10,000 monsters are killed on that map in total.
- Even when shown on the map, there are no warp portals to leave. Instead, the user needs to either log out, which will bring them back to Prontera, or use Butterfly Wings.
Land of Heroes 1
- The Land of Heroes 1 map is based on Lighthalzen Field (lhz_fild01).
- The monsters are mostly fire element, so a water weapon or endow is recommended.
- Fire resist potions can help mitigate the damage from the Horrible Desert Wolves, the most dangerous of the four.
- Some of the Horrible Grand Pecos are passive and do not attack the player on their own but will retaliate when attacked or when other passive Pecos attack the player.
- The MVP of that map is Horrible Atroce [Level 155], who behaves, has the same skills, and drops as the normal Atroce found around Rachel.
Land of Heroes 2
- The Land of Heroes 2 map is based on Audhumbla Grassland (ra_fild05).
- The monsters are mixed elements, but shadow element damage is recommended due to the high health and shadow weakness of the Horrible Merman.
- In comparison to Land of Heroes 1, no monsters are passive; all will attack you on sight.
- Due to the high number of ranged abilities (mostly Waterball, cast by Corrupted Uzhas and Corrupted Vavayaga), some form of HP sustain is recommended.
- The Level 10 Waterball from Corrupted Uzhas and Corrupted Vavayaga can (and should) be interrupted by dealing damage to them.
- The use of water resist potions is recommended.
- The MVP of that map is Corrupted Amon Ra [Level 165], who behaves the same (except that he can move) and has the same skills and drops as the normal Amon Ra found in the Morroc Pyramid.
Changelog
22.04.2022
- The amount of killed Monsters needed to spawn MVP's was increased from [3.000] to [10.000].
