I believe base aspd values for all mercenaries are wrong
Fencer level 8 and 9

Was working on getting all the info on the page and make it look pretty later (looked better than before//). Didnt have time to recheck all the starting values of the mercs yet. All I ask is that you keep the HP and SP regen per Xsec in the chart. I find this to be very important information and I was always running around the web to find these values. Not sure how you are going to fit 2 more columns of data in though. ASPD values are pretty much worthless becuase they are all the same. --Sillbrink(19 July 2010)
- I re-added the HP / SP regeneration into the 2 tables that are completed for now so it still easily viewable without too many columns. I also moved the ASPD area to the "Base Stats" part of the mercenary details. Since it's part of the base stat, it could just be explained there. Looking much better. I'll work on confirming the values of the merc stats as I use them, because I think there may be a mistake somewhere in the skills section (will be a work in progress). Mercenary Update
Hit values seem to be adjusted now.
Also their attacks aren't neutral anymore or at least they didn't miss on ghost3 targets like they used to.
Yes, hit values have been adjusted in concordance with renewal, so that's no surprise. However, they're attacks have always been neutral, and could always hit ghosts of every element level, so that's not new. Mercenaries are like Homuns; even though they use neutral attacks, they can hit ghosts with 100% damage. It's always been like that. No, mercs didn't use to hit ghost2+ targets pre renewal. I know it because I used to level in geffen dungeon lv3 with my priest and always had to aspersio them to not miss on nightmares/marionettes. --Wanderer 14:52, 27 November 2010 (MST)
That doesn't seem right, as I used Merc's with my Priest to kill Ghostrings a while back. Anyways, how long ago was that? It's possible that it was long before the patch that made them able to hit Ghosts. After all, Homun's can attack ghosts no problem, and they're attacks are Neutral. Scaraba Mercenary
Should the scaraba mercenary be added?
The Queen Scaraba card has a chance of dropping a Scaraba Mercenary scroll. I do not know what type of scaraba mercenary it would be or if it is a standard scaraba antler monster. While Queen Scaraba Card says the mercenary scroll drop is unimplemented, the more current May 2018 post in warpportal forums says it exists. The thread of recommended leveling techniques even mentioned it.
Certainly, the Antler Scaraba Mercenary scroll exists in the database. Possibly the database entry for the queen scaraba card needs to be updated to remove the "unimplemented" description. A prominent speed leveling thread in the official warpportal forums does mention that the card provides a chance of mercenary scroll drop upon killing an enemy. --Naeko (talk) 23:17, 27 September 2018 (UTC)
