Description

Snap to a target, dealing critical damage, while attempting to inflict a negative status effect. The chance of infliction is 50%. AGI affects damage.

Damage formula: ATK [{(Skill Level * 100) + (AGI * 5)} * (Base Level / 120)] %

Applications

• In PVP scenarios, Pinpoint Attack is useful for destroying equipment. Used in combination with Shield Spell Lv. 3, a single strike can destroy both the opponent's Armor and Helm, Shield or Weapon.
• During PVP, but not War of Emperium, the Snap effect allows the user to quickly approach a target, in range to use another skill such as Overbrand or Exceed Break.
• The 5 second cooldown prevents Pinpoint Attack from being spammed in PvM.

Notes

• Pinpoint Attack is a ranged skill, blockable by Pneuma. When damage is negated in this way, no status is inflicted.
• Always deals critical damage, regardless of user's CRIT.
• In War of Emperium, the user does not instantly move to the target, turning Pinpoint Attack into a general ranged skill.
