Overview

First introduced as part of the 2011 Halloween Event, Spooky Machine is part of the 2018 Halloween celebration which also includes a costumed trick-or-treater encounter. Located in an Eden staff room room connected to the 2nd floor of the Eden Group Lobby, the Spooky Machine gives you a Cracked Buckler and the opportunity to upgrade it. Based on the level of upgrades it gets up to, you get a free item from that tier.

Spooky Machine

1. Talk to Spooky Machine moc_paraup186120 in 2nd Floor of Eden Group HQ.
2. The Machine will give you 1 Cracked Buckler, equip it and talk to the Machine again. Spooky Machine automatically refines the Cracked Buckler until it breaks.

Notes:

• The Machine will only count the refines completed by the machine itself. Pre-refining the cracked buckler with a different npc will not affect the machine's refine counter.
• Make sure your inventory isn't full before talking to the spooky machine, otherwise you won't receive the cracked buckler or the rewards even though you'll still gain the cooldown.
• During the event, blue cards improved your chance of success in refining the cracked buckler. If you had at least one complete set of blue cards ( 1 Blue B Card and 2 Blue O Cards) spelling the Halloween-related word "B O O", the Spooky Machine upgraded the Cracked Buckler using the refinement rate for enriched ores. Only one set of blue cards was deducted from your inventory, so there was no need to hide excess items beyond the minimum required. If blue cards are no longer desired, they can be removed from your inventory by the Grandpa in Eden's first floor lobby.
• The 2023 Snow White Festival Event for the Christmas season made use of the same "B" and "O" card items along with other cards such as A, F, H, I, L, M, N, R, S, T, V, and W. When the event ended on January 30, 2024, it indiscriminately deleted the "B" and "O" cards from inventory.

Notes:

• Stat-Food rewards are account bound and have 1 weight.
• Equipping the Strawberry in Mouth will make killed enemies drop Blue B cards or Blue O cards by chance.
