Character Creation

  • Currently there are 9 Character Slots available for use.
  • Select an empty slot to create a character, here you have a choice to pick a race between Human or Doram .
  • Afterwards select your character's Gender, Hairstyle, Hair Color, and your Character's Name

Starting Area

Depending on the race you selected, you will spawn on different starting areas. Humans will be on a ship while Dorams will start in Lasagna. Here, you will be introduced to an optional tutorial which you can skip.

  • Dorams who starts the tutorial cannot leave Lasagna until completing the entire tutorial questline.
  • Leaving Lasagna to Izlude costs 200 Zeny.

Heading to Izlude

Izlude is a satellite town which all new characters begin their adventure, now if you're wondering how to get here when skipping the starting area, we will be using the Navigation System.

  • One way is to use the /navi command which will be used throughout the guides found here in iROWiki, now click on this izlude196209 and open the chat box in-game by pressing Enter and lastly paste the copied command to the chat box (Ctrl+V) and hit Enter to send.
    • If you don't see anything to click on, refresh the page.
  • Arrows will appear, indicating where to go (Note: This is not a perfect system and may sometimes not work or lead you to dead ends).
    • Humans will already have arrows to direct them outside the ship, apply the command after leaving the ship.
    • Dorams will need 200z on hand for the transport fee, hunt monsters and sell their drops here lasagna166116.
  • Another Way to use the Navigation System is to open the Navigation Window.
  • This opens the Navigation Window, here you can search for Maps, Monsters and NPC locations using the search function.

Criatura Academy

1. Criatura Acedemy is located at the Northern part of Izlude and Humans are required to register before setting off on their adventure, head to iz_ac0110138 and speak with Academy receptionist to register.

  • Dorams can skip to here.

First Job Change

Novices who reach Job Level 10 and have Basic Skill level 9 can now pick a class to pursue.

    • Gunslinger, Ninja, Taekwon, Super Novice and Summoner(Doram) are Expanded Classes

You also receive a Job Change Map through the RODEX(In-game Mail) which you can keep in your inventory if you chose a Main Class whom will eventually undergo Rebirth, Expanded Classes can discard the Job Change Map after Job Change.

Sprakki's Call

After completing your first job change, you are explicitly told to return to Sprakki.

  • Skipping this will prevent you from changing jobs after Rebirth so might as well do it now.

Eden Group

Talk to Lime Evenor who registers you to the Eden Group and provides you with equipment and the Eden Group Mark.

  • Dorams will register by by finding Lime Evenor here moc_para012730.

At this point, you are now free to start your own adventure and the first agenda on your list would be Leveling.

  • For those interested, talking to Sprakki continues the questline related to Leno BUT must wait until reaching Level 21 to progress.

Leveling

Several ways to level up includes hunting monsters and fulfilling requests such as:

Earning Zeny

Farming Zeny in the earlier levels (1~99) is not a necessity besides for the purpose of transport fees, HP and SP restoration items and other relevant items needed for leveling progression.
Nevertheless, besides selling monster drops to Merchant NPCs, another important tip to earning Zeny is to first know the market and your character.
However, it is very important to know what the players need, what you can farm and to know whether or not it is worth the trouble.
Quest Items has a catalogue of items used either crafting or for quests, but does not guarantee a sale.
Overall it is better for balance out Zeny farming and leveling during the early levels (1~99), better opportunities to earn zeny starts at level 100 and beyond.
