Overview

This instance has several rounds of fighting one enemy at a time. It's popular since it requires little moving around and has several useful cards.

Notes

  • All tournament's monsters in this instance are Demi-Human race and have Neutral, Ghost, or Earth element.
  • Warning: Tournament employ kill count system in iRO. Don't use gear and skill, which has effect of Burning and Polymorphic.

Instance Cooldown Quest Name: Re-exploring the crack of spaces

Note:Talk to Emmitt White after exiting the instance to start the instance cooldown timer!

Walkthrough

  1. Talk to Emmitt White dali98141 in Dimensional Gap to create the instance, then enter through the Dimensional Device.
  2. Optional: Inside, you can get one Special Buff before the next step.
  3. Head south, talk to Receptionist (1@gef 122,58), register to participate, then kill the Desert Wolf within 60 seconds.
  4. Talk to Receptionist again, type anything to register, then go south of the water fountain into the portal to start the tournament.
  5. The tournament has started and there are 13 opponents to fight.
    • Each round has a time limit of 3min (Final rounds are 5min).
    • After beating an opponent, you get a Geffen Magic Contest Coin, and continue to next round with Tournament Guide.
      • If you are carrying maximum capacity of 30,000 Coins, the next opponent fight will be skipped.
    • (Not appear now) Healer NPC will appear every 3 round.
    • To see all opponents, look at Opponent List.
  6. After the tournament ends, you will be warped out from the tournament area. Talk to Fenrir's members around Geffen tower.
    Each of the 4 members will give you a random potion or Yggdrasil item. (The average quality of given item increase depending on rounds achieved.)

  7. Go to northern Geffen's warp portal, exit this instance.
  8. Talk to Emmitt White again to start the cooldown timer!

Special Buff Event

Note: These events will not occur if walk near Receptionist.

Event occurs when you pass through their point.
You can get Special Buff, And 3rd round's opponents change by your behavior. Yellow point lose a little Zeny.

You can use Kafra storage for 30 zeny (currently broken on iRO). Riding Creature Master and Point trader are near the Kafra too.
