Rekenber Corporation, the de facto entity of power of Schwartzvald Republic, have historically used mercenaries to supplement its forces and enforce control. However, disruptive events in the Republic influenced its President for their disbandment, with the mercenaries leading an uprising to express dissent of this decision. The revolt, however, was quashed.
Bitter and betrayed, the remaining forces reorganized in Einbech to form a quasi-military group called the "Rebellion", and its members "Rebels". Ever since then, they conducted independent clandestine operations in the region to make a name for themselves, all the while vowing revenge against the President of Rekenber Corporation and his pet unit, the Secret Wings.
A tight-knit organization, the Rebellion only recruit through underground connections and contracts, and recognition is given only to those that have contributed to the cause. Despite this, an adventuring gunslinger of high enough experience and skill might just be able to stumble in to their ranks...
Pros:
Multiple powerful skills which do upwards of 3,000-5,600% damage with additional effects.
More versatile with addition of new bullets: Fire/Earth/Wind/Water varieties + Armor-piercing.
Cons:
None of the skills benefit from the range increase provided by the Gunslinger skill Snake Eyes.
Crimson Marker can be triggered as far as 21 × 21 range from the caster (all of the screen), but the actual range of Crimson Marker is only 10. This puts you in a vulnerable position in the instance where you want to use more powerful skills.
Expensive catalyst materials for many of the stronger skills. Dragon Tail Missiles as an example cost 1500 (pre-discount) and weigh 10 each. Skills that use these materials should be used sparingly due to lack of weight limit and cost of use.
STR: 1-50 (for weight capacity) or 120 (if using Tengu Set/Giant's Protection/Modified Str Boots)
AGI: 1+
VIT: 50+ (For more HP)
INT: 100-120 (for more SP/SP regen, 120 if using Seraphim Coronet)
DEX: 100-120 (for damage)
LUK: 33+ (for cheaper damage when Dex gets too expensive)
All damage all the time. You want access to a powerful AoE, a powerful cheap AoE, a powerful Single Target ability, and a cheap AoE. Snake Eyes doesn't work with Rebellion skills, so expect to be close in combat at all times.
Primary skills:
Rich's Coin Costs 1 skill point, and significantly decreases the amount of time you have to spend spamming Coin Flip
God's Hammer Highest damage skill in the Rebellion arsenal but uses up all your coins in order to cast.
Quick Draw Shot Only use this when wearing a Revolver, so that you can use the natural Chain Action proc instead of having to invest (waste) points in Eternal Chain. Good for dealing a lot of damage to enemies that are not necessarily grouped together.
Howling Mine Great mob-clear AoE skill. Attach it to a few enemies that are grouped near each other, then light it off with Flicker.
Dragon Tail Preferably used on only a single target at a time. So only use when there's a single Crimson Marker in place. Big numbers!
Fire Rain Another good AoE mob clearing skill. Because screw groups of mobs.
Round Trip Great skill for leveling. Has a large AoE around the user.
ASPD Build
STR: 1-30 (for weight capacity)
AGI: 90-120 (depending on your gear and how much you're willing to spend on consumables)
VIT: 50+ (For more HP)
INT: 50+ (For more SP/SP regen)
DEX: 100-120 (For more damage)
LUK: 33+ (For cheaper atk when Dex is too expensive)
With Hit Barrel, Rebels can easily reach max ASPD. With the use of Eternal Chain and Chain Action, the player can hitlock monsters to prevent them from reaching getting in range.
Bring a Revolver, a Gatling Gun, a Grenade Launcher, and a Rifle. You're going to need them. Also bullets, lots and lots of bullets (and the special ammo, too).
Equipment
Rebellion use the same types of weapons as Gunslingers, including; Revolvers, Rifles, Gatling Guns, Shotguns and Grenade Launchers. Additionally, some of their skills require the usage of secondary catalysts, including:
Full Metal Jacket Bullet (Mass Spiral, aka Absolute Penetration)
Projectile Mine (Howling Mine, aka Call of Destruction)
Dragon Tail Missile (Dragon Tail, aka Tail of the Clutches)
